Course Learning Objectives

Develop the leadership mindset, practical skills and decision-making techniques required to become a Professional Agile Leader™ capable of measuring what truly creates value and using Evidence-Based Management (EBM) to guide strategic decisions.

The Professional Agile Leadership™ – Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) course, created by Scrum.org, is delivered by an experienced Professional Scrum Trainer™ (PST) using highly interactive learning techniques, including real-world scenarios, collaborative exercises and Training from the Back of the Room (TBR) practices.

Participants learn how to apply Evidence-Based Management to evaluate outcomes, prioritize investments, reduce organizational risk and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The course provides a premium learning experience with small class sizes, encouraging collaboration between professionals from different countries, industries and organizational backgrounds.

Over approximately 14 hours, participants discover how to use Evidence-Based Management (EBM) to define strategic goals, measure value creation, improve organizational capabilities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The course includes up to two certification attempts (vouchers) for each participant.

Note: For professionals living in France, CPF (Mon Compte Formation) funding may be available depending on eligibility.

Note: This course is not an introduction to Scrum. Participants will benefit most if they already possess a fundamental understanding of Scrum and Agile principles. We recommend completing Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) or an equivalent Scrum course before attending.

Pass your Exam Certification

All participants completing the Professional Agile Leadership™ – Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) course receive an official Scrum.org password to attempt the Professional Agile Leadership™ – Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) assessment.

Participants who take the assessment within 14 days of receiving their voucher and do not achieve the required passing score will receive a second attempt at no additional cost, subject to Scrum.org’s certification policy.

The internationally recognized PAL-EBM certification validates your ability to apply Evidence-Based Management, lead Agile organizations through empirical decision-making, measure value creation and foster continuous organizational improvement.
